Most of you are probably aware that the weather forecast for the weekend is not good, with snow looking more and more likely. We have contingency plans in place depending on exactly how things turn out, but at present the events are on. The first thing you may notice is that the Day 1 Race Arena may be relocated, although it will still be no further from the car park.
If the weather is bad then we are likely to enforce the carrying of a cagoule and/or whistle. Notices will be displayed and announcements made to confirm this. If this is deemed necessary then anyone arriving at the start without a cagoule (meaning a coat with some form of head cover) and/or whistle as required will NOT be allowed to start. Ashdown Forest may be only 30 miles from London but it can still be very exposed and bleak in bad weather.
Further information will be posted on the website as it becomes available, and announcements will be made in the Race Arenas each day to keep you informed.
