Day 2 results and Routegadget from Leith Hill are now available.
Leith Hill proved to be just as challenging as Guildford, with sections of fast runnable forest broken up by aras of detailed contour features with lower visibility. There were strong winds throughout the day, and heavy snow showers hit throughout the event reducing vsibility even further and turning the ground white very quickly.
Scott Fraser won the men's elite class ahead of Daniel Hubmann of Switzerland, with Graham Gristwood third. The women's elite saw an amazingly tight race, with Sarah Rollins just one second ahead of Elise Egseth who was in turn just one second ahead of Helen Bridle. So there really is everything to play for at tomorrow's race at Ashdown Forest.
